The festive months of October and November 2024 at Chanderbala Modi Academy were filled with cultural vibrancy, national pride, entrepreneurial spirit, and academic excellence. From Garba nights to debates, from entrepreneurship fairs to innovation challenges, CMA shone brightly as a hub of learning, creativity, and community spirit.
Principal’s Corner – Building Bridges with Parents
Principal Mr. Ramjee Nagarajan emphasised the role of parents as equal partners in the CMA journey, inviting them to share reflections and contribute to Chandrodaya. He highlighted teamwork, feedback, and collaboration as key to nurturing children’s growth in academics and character.
Major Events & Celebrations
Gandhi Jayanti Assembly – Gandhi House presented soulful songs, inspiring speeches, a quiz, and a skit depicting Bapu’s values of truth and non-violence.
Navratri Festivities – Tagore House organised colourful dances, stories, and a vibrant Dussehra procession, with students and teachers joining in Garba and traditional performances.
Entrepreneurship Competition – Students set up creative stalls selling food, crafts, and handmade products in honour of Late Shri Ratan Tata. Their innovation, marketing, and teamwork turned the event into a festival of young business leaders.
Sardar Patel Jayanti Assembly – Raman House honoured the “Iron Man of India” through freeze frames, speeches, and dance, highlighting the values of unity and resilience.
Children’s Day Assembly – Nehru House celebrated innocence, joy, and dreams of childhood with poetry, speeches, music, quizzes, and a Cartoon Fashion Show.
Achievements & Academic Excellence
Inter-School Competitions – CMA students earned laurels at the Varghese Kurien Inter-School Competition (Anandalaya) with wins in debates, painting, and quizzes.
Hindi One-Act Play – All four houses presented different Kands of the Ramayana, showcasing theatrical brilliance and moral lessons, with Raman House emerging victorious.
Scipotech 2024 (STEAM Competition) – CMA innovators excelled with projects like a Gesture-Controlled Robotic Arm (1st place), Dual Sensor Delivery Robot (2nd place), and models of cranes and hydraulic lifts.
Future Pathways 2024 – Career Guidance Fair
Over 30 universities participated in this mega fair, giving CMA students and parents insights into career opportunities and higher education choices. Expert talks and interactive sessions helped students chart their academic journeys with clarity.
At CMA, October and November 2024 embodied the spirit of festivity, innovation, and values—where students not only celebrated traditions but also prepared for the future with creativity, knowledge, and confidence.
