Young Hearts, Big Values: Learning the Joy of Giving at Kalarav Charitable Trust

At Chanderbala Modi Academy, the value of gratitude is consciously nurtured as an integral part of holistic education. In keeping with this ethos, students from Nursery to Grade II, accompanied by their teachers, visited Kalarav Charitable Trust to experience the spirit of giving and sharing.

The visit commenced with a warm and enthusiastic welcome by the trust students, who presented a soulful prayer song, graceful dance performances, and heartfelt poem recitations. These thoughtful presentations created a joyful and positive atmosphere, setting the tone for a meaningful interaction.

Our students expressed their care and affection by distributing chocolates, soft toys, building blocks, stationery items, and other play materials. They also participated by singing songs and reciting poems, fostering moments of shared happiness and emotional connection among the children.

As a meaningful contribution, the school donated an outdoor jungle gym and a tricycle to the trust, which will support the children’s play and overall development. The school extends sincere gratitude to the parents for their generous support, as several families contributed additional toys and blankets, further strengthening the spirit of compassion and generosity.

The visit served as a valuable learning experience, helping students understand the importance of empathy, kindness, and gratitude. Observing the joy of giving and the positive impact of small acts of care was enriching for both students and teachers alike.
