The months of December 2024 and January 2025 at Chanderbala Modi Academy were vibrant with perseverance, creativity, cultural pride, and patriotic spirit. From inspiring assemblies to grand annual celebrations, from bird-watching workshops to sports meets, the CMA family came together to learn, perform, and grow in true spirit of excellence and unity.

Principal’s Corner – From Pawns to Kings
Principal Ramjee Nagarajan shared reflections on perseverance, drawing inspiration from India’s 72nd Chess Grandmaster, Mitrabha Guha. He reminded students and parents that true success is built on dedication, discipline, and consistent effort—lessons extending beyond the chessboard into every sphere of life.

Major Events & Celebrations

31st Annual Day – “Prakriti Vandana”: A spectacular two-day celebration by junior and senior wings showcasing art, dance, music, and drama themed around the five natural elements. The cultural programs, exhibitions, and Annual Awards Ceremony highlighted both creativity and academic achievements.

Bird Watching Workshop: Led by renowned ornithologist Christopher Guna, students explored the wonders of the Western Ghats’ bird species, learning about their ecological importance.

Republic Day & Sports Day: Retd. Captain Manmeet Singh Kapoor unfurled the national flag, followed by patriotic songs, speeches, gymnastics, and spirited athletics. Tagore House won the Athletic Trophy, while Raman House bagged the March Past Trophy.

Tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose: A special assembly honoured his courage and leadership, with students delivering stirring speeches, songs, and poems.

Teachers’ Workshop: Faculty explored Transactional Analysis concepts from I’m OK, You’re OK by Thomas A. Harris, enhancing skills in communication, self-awareness, and classroom interactions.

Farm Visit for Kindergarten: Little learners visited Shreeji Farm, discovering farming practices, organic food, and healthy living through hands-on experiences.

Moments of Joy
A lighthearted canteen incident gave birth to the legendary “Chawal ki Parota” joke—proof that laughter and shared memories are as much a part of CMA life as academics and achievements.

At Chanderbala Modi Academy, December and January were months of learning, celebration, and inspiration—nurturing resilience, creativity, patriotism, and a spirit of togetherness that prepare students to face the future with confidence and purpose.
