CMA August–September 2024 Magazine Highlights
At Chanderbala Modi Academy, the months of August and September 2024 were filled with learning, leadership, patriotism, culture, and creativity. From inspiring workshops to festive celebrations, from thought-provoking debates to sporting achievements, students displayed excellence, curiosity, and the CMA spirit of all-round development.
Principal’s Corner – Building Bridges with Parents
Principal Mr. Ramjee Nagarajan shared his vision for Chandrodaya, the school magazine, as a platform to strengthen community bonds and celebrate milestones. He invited parents to actively contribute with their reflections and ideas, making the magazine an inclusive and collaborative effort.
Major Events & Achievements
Film-IT Workshop, Vadodara – Students explored biodiversity and filmmaking, learning storytelling, camera work, and editing while connecting with India’s cultural heritage.
Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) – Students participated in sessions on self-belief, stress management, communication, and leadership, earning accolades for creativity and teamwork.
Independence Day 2024 – A patriotic celebration with songs, dances, and motivational speeches, instilling pride and unity.
Inter-House Debate & Freedom Cup Debate – Students showcased eloquence, critical thinking, and quick wit, with Raman House emerging victorious in the inter-house round.
Special Assemblies – Gandhi House celebrated Raksha Bandhan, Tagore House brought Janmashtami to life, and Nehru House presented a devotional Ganesh Chaturthi programme.
Vriksha Bandhan – Students tied rakhis to trees, blending sibling love with environmental care.
Investiture Ceremony – Newly elected leaders took their oath of service, with dignitaries inspiring them to lead with integrity.
Eco-Friendly Ganesha Idol Making – Families and students celebrated tradition while promoting sustainability through clay idol workshops.
Teachers’ Day – Students honoured educators with skits, songs, dances, and heartfelt gestures of gratitude.
Hindi Diwas – Celebrated with speeches, recitations, and creative activities, reaffirming pride in the national language.
Sports Achievements – CMA teams shone in the SGFI Bharuch District Basketball Tournament, securing multiple bronze medals across categories.
Special Highlights
Rotary Club of Bharuch honoured CMA teachers with the Nation Builder Award.
Chairman Shri V.K. Modi visited CMA, witnessing performances, VR labs, and robotics displays, praising the blend of culture and innovation.
A session on Child Protection Laws (POCSO & JJA) empowered teachers with knowledge to safeguard students.
Renowned ISRO scientist Dr. B.S. Raman interacted with students, sharing insights on Chandrayaan, lunar exploration, and India’s space future.
