Chanderbala Modi Academy showcased its commitment to holistic education by selecting eight talented students from Grades VIII and IX to participate in the INTACH India Film-IT Workshop at Navrachana International School, Vadodara. Accompanied by Ms. Jalpa Pillai and Ms. Madhuri Mohite, students—Ms. Nidhi Bhandari, Ms. Vageshri Navadiya, Ms.Riya Garg, Ms. Aadhya Gadetharia, Mstr. Arnav Singh, Mstr. Dhruv Mani, Mstr. Vivaan Vasania, and Mstr. Rajveer Gandhi—attended the workshop under theguidance of Principal Mr.Ramjee Nagarajan.

The event featured the screening of Manthan (1976), which inspired students to explore India’s White Revolution and understand the film’s history as India’s first crowd funded movie. Students learned the three stages of film production, from story development to camera techniques and editing. A documentary on Ahmedabad’s“Teen Darwaza” and traditional games further enhanced their understanding of cultural heritage and storytelling.This hands-on experience broadened students’ perspectives and enriched their appreciation of heritage and film technology, reinforcing the school’s dedication to learning beyond the classroom.
